About Me!

Kara Brouelette is a versatile singer/actor based in Southern California. With a background in choral singing, a degree in Musical Theatre Performance, and training in classical music, Kara is comfortable singing in a wide variety of styles - from Broadway to Pat Benatar to The Andrews Sisters to Gilbert & Sullivan. 

Kara grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and received her degree in Music Theatre Performance from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Her career has taken her across the globe!

Kara has been seen in Las Vegas, singing opera at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino - playing Aurora, a princess in St. Mark's Square, and Bella, a sassy gondolier on the Grand Canal. She was a featured soloist in Las Vegas' Stephen Sondheim birthday concert at the Suncoast Casino with Bill Fayne and originated her first role at the Las Vegas Fringe Festival in Waldrop and Williamson's PANDEMIC - A Killer Flu-sical! She even tried her hand at music directing with a workshop concert of Miller and Tysen's FUGITIVE SONGS.

In New York, Kara was able to take part in readings, concerts and cabarets at numerous venues, including Carnegie Hall with ESSENTIAL VOICES USA for the NY Pops Rodgers and Hammerstein concert. She also sang for Silversea Cruises, where she performed Opera, ABBA, Motown, Beatles and Broadway revue shows, all while getting to see 38 different countries! (Totally life-changing!)

Now residing in Southern California, Kara enjoys a variety of work - singing with her husband, Chris, in their acoustic duo, 3 Mile Radius, fronting OC-based variety band, Loophole, and working on a theatrical stage as often as possible!

Kara is also a commercial voiceover artist with a pro-quality in-home recording studio from which she is able to lend her voice to various projects for her clients.
